ICAC Commissioner's statement - AFP investigation

Statement from the ICAC Commissioner, the Hon Jerrold Cripps QC

"An officer is currently on secondment to us from the NSW Crime Commission, and is working in our Assessments Section.

"Senior Management has been kept informed at all times about the Australian Federal Police investigation, including her involvement with the subject officer.

"This information has been kept strictly confidential within the Executive of the Commission and managed in a way which would not in any way jeopordise the integrity of the investigation by the Federal Police.

"The Commission has been informed by the Federal Police that this officer is not a suspect in this matter."
