The National Investigations Symposium is back in May 2023!

NIS 12 plenary session

The 13th National Investigation Symposium (13 NIS) will be held at the Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, on 24 and 25 May 2023.

The symposium is Australia’s premier investigations and complaint handling forum. It is attended by more than 500 public sector investigators, complaint handlers, auditors and senior public sector managers.

Symposium speakers comprise experts and practitioners within the public and private sectors, NGOs, public sector leaders, academics and investigative journalists within relevant fields of factfinding.

Session topics for the 13 NIS will include:

The NIS is an in-person event with informal social gatherings that provide delegates the opportunity to establish and foster vital contacts for further professional development.

The symposium program will be released in November 2022 with the opening of early bird registration.

A program of in-person workshops will precede the 13 NIS, on 23 May 2023. The workshop program is open to symposium delegates and non-delegates.
