Statement regarding the Transport Asset Holding Entity

Friday 17 February 2023

In October 2021, the Commission decided to investigate whether any person involved in the establishment and administration of the Transport Asset Holding Entity (TAHE) engaged in corrupt conduct, including in respect of reports commissioned from KPMG concerning TAHE, and whether any person acted corruptly with respect to the termination of employment of the Secretary, Transport for NSW, in November 2020.

The investigation did not identify any evidence of corrupt conduct. As a result, the Commission has discontinued its investigation and does not propose taking any further action with respect to the matter.

The Commission will not be making further comment.
