MEDIA ALERT: Operation Skyline public inquiry to continue from Monday 25 November

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption’s (ICAC) Operation Skyline public inquiry into allegations concerning the Awabakal Local Aboriginal Land Council will continue next week from Monday 25 November 2019 at 10:00 am for up to one week.

Operation Skyline is an investigation concerning a scheme involving proposals from 2014 to 2016  for the sale and development of properties (“the Sale and Development Scheme”) owned by the land council, and related matters.

In accordance with the order made on 29 April 2019 by the Chief Commissioner, the Hon Peter Hall QC, pursuant to section 31(9) of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, the evidence of Mr Nicholas Petroulias will be taken in private.

Chief Commissioner Hall is presiding at the public inquiry, and Counsel Assisting the Commission are Dr Nicholas Chen SC and Ms Juliet Curtin.
