MEDIA ALERT: ICAC Operation Skyline public inquiry to resume from Monday 6 May 2019

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption’s (ICAC) Operation Skyline public inquiry into allegations concerning the Awabakal Local Aboriginal Land Council will resume next week from Monday 6 May 2019 at 10:00 am.
Operation Skyline is an investigation concerning a scheme involving proposals from 2014 to 2016 for the sale and development of properties (“the Sale and Development Scheme”) owned by the land council, and related matters.
Further details about Operation Skyline are available here. The inquiry is expected to continue for approximately two weeks. A witness list for the first week is attached. Please note that this list is subject to change.
In accordance with the order made on 29 April 2019 by the Chief Commissioner, the Hon Peter Hall QC, pursuant to section 31(9) of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988, the evidence of Mr Nicholas Petroulias will be taken in private.
Chief Commissioner Hall is presiding at the public inquiry, and Counsel Assisting the Commission are Dr Nicholas Chen SC and Ms Juliet Curtin.
