MEDIA ALERT: ICAC Operation Skyline public inquiry to resume on 6 August

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption’s (ICAC) Operation Skyline public inquiry into allegations concerning the Awabakal Local Aboriginal Land Council will resume on Monday 6 August 2018 at 10:00 am for approximately two weeks.

This part of the public inquiry will be held at the ICAC’s hearing room on Level 7, 255 Elizabeth Street, Sydney.

Operation Skyline is an investigation concerning a scheme involving proposals from 2014 to 2016  for the sale and development of properties (“the Sale and Development Scheme”) owned by the land council, and related matters.

ICAC Chief Commissioner the Hon Peter Hall QC is presiding at the public inquiry, and Counsel Assisting the Commission are Dr Nicholas Chen SC and Ms Juliet Curtin.

The public inquiry may continue after the end of the two weeks, with dates to be advised.
