MEDIA ALERT: ICAC Operation Skyline public inquiry to resume on 16 July

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption’s (ICAC) Operation Skyline public inquiry into allegations concerning the Awabakal Local Aboriginal Land Council will resume on Monday 16 July 2018 at 10:00 am for one week.
Due to another ICAC public inquiry also underway next week (Operation Dasha), this part of the Operation Skyline public inquiry will be held at the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission (LECC) hearing room, Level 3, 111 Elizabeth Street, Sydney.
Operation Skyline is an investigation concerning a scheme involving proposals from 2014 to 2016 for the sale and development of properties (“the Sale and Development Scheme”) owned by the land council, and related matters.

ICAC Chief Commissioner the Hon Peter Hall QC is presiding at the public inquiry, and Counsel Assisting the Commission are Dr Nicholas Chen SC and Ms Juliet Curtin.
The public inquiry is expected to continue after next week, with dates to be advised.
