MEDIA ALERT: Public inquiry into allegations concerning former Mine Subsidence Board manager resumes Monday

The NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) Operation Tunic public inquiry into allegations concerning former Mine Subsidence Board (MSB) Picton office district manager, Darren Bullock, will recommence next Monday 25 May 2015 at 10:00 am.

In this segment, the Commission will examine allegations that Mr Bullock received, or may have received, corrupt payments or other benefits as an inducement or reward for showing favourable treatment to building contractor David Salmon of A&DJ Building Services.

The Commission will also examine whether the systems, policies and procedures of the MSB were, and are, adequate to prevent or minimise corrupt behaviour of the kind referred to in the allegations described above, or should be changed to reduce the likelihood of corrupt conduct occurring in the future.

ICAC Commissioner the Hon Megan Latham is presiding at the public inquiry and Counsel Assisting the Commission is Mr Andrew Naylor. The inquiry is expected to conclude next week. A witness list is attached. Please note that this list is subject to change.
