The ICAC is investigating allegations that, from 2012 to August 2018, the then NSW Member of Parliament for Wagga Wagga, Mr Daryl Maguire, engaged in conduct that involved a breach of public trust by using his public office, involving his duties as a member of the NSW Parliament, and the use of parliamentary resources, to improperly gain a benefit for himself and/or entities close to him. These entities included G8wayinternational/G8wayinternational Pty Ltd and associated persons.
On 1 October 2021, the Commission announced it would conduct a further public inquiry in Operation Keppel. Details of the further investigation can be accessed here.

An erroneous version of the transcript from this morning’s session
was uploaded to this website today at approximately 4.45 pm. That
version was removed from the website at approximately 5.18 pm. The Chief
Commissioner has made a direction pursuant to section 112 of the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988
that any part of that version of transcript shall not be published,
copied or described in any manner that may reveal the contents of same. A
corrected version has since been published.
