The ICAC Act
The ICAC is constituted under the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act 1988.
The Act defines corruption, sets out the functions of the ICAC, describes referral responsibilities, constitutes and sets out the function of the Parliamentary Joint Committee and Inspector of the ICAC and makes provisions for referrals from and reports to Parliament.
The complete ICAC Act is available through the NSW legislation website, which contains a searchable database of cases and legislation.
