Reporting corruption

The ICAC gathers information from a variety of sources about corruption that may be occurring in the NSW public sector. Anybody can provide information about suspected corrupt conduct to the ICAC. Members of the public, public officials and the heads of NSW government agencies (including local councils) provide the ICAC with valuable information about corruption.

Information can be provided in writing, by telephone or arranging an interview with an ICAC Officer. Contact details are listed below.

If you, or a person you are advising, are unsure if a matter should be reported to the ICAC, you can also seek advice from an ICAC Officer over the phone.

All principal officers of NSW public agencies have an obligation under section 11 of the ICAC Act to report to the ICAC any matter the officer suspects, on reasonable grounds, may concern corrupt conduct. [go]
