Education resources for schools and the community
Part of the ICAC’s statutory role is to educate the community about public sector corruption.
We do this through our website and by producing information and resource materials for specific community groups and/or the
These resources include our bi-annual newspaper Corruption Matters; our Annual Report and information brochures such as Introducing the ICAC - a guide for the NSW community and Reporting Corruption to the ICAC .
Also available is Providing advice on corruption issues – a guide for community leaders, which equips community leaders with information to advise their community on the ICAC’s role and how to complain about public sector corruption.
We also conduct campaigns to inform and educate identified priority audiences about public sector corruption and the role of the ICAC.
The ICAC's “Corruption is wrong” campaign, seeks to inform and educate non-English speaking background communities about public sector corruption and the role of the ICAC. Information and resources have been produced in 30 community languages. For more information, click on the link below.
The ICAC conducts a limited number of schools visits as part of its Rural and Regional Outreach Program and in 1996 – 1998 the ICAC produced a number of audio-visual resources for primary and secondary schools, which were distributed to all primary and secondary schools in NSW.
