Part of the ICAC's role is to educate the community about NSW public sector corruption. The ICAC does this through:
- maintaining an up-to-date website that includes information on current investigations and prevention advice, as well as investigation reports and other publications
- providing information for specific community groups and the community as a whole
- conducting outreach programs targeting rural and regional NSW, and vulnerable population groups such as culturally and linguistically diverse communities
- releasing information on public hearings and investigation outcomes to the media and the community, and encouraging media attendance at public inquiries.
Available resources include:
- annual report
- Corruption Matters – twice yearly newspaper
- media releases
- Introducing the ICAC. A guide for the NSW community (brochure)
- Providing advice on corruption issues. A guide for community leaders (booklet)
- Reporting Corruption to the ICAC (brochure).
