The fourth Australian Public Sector Anti-Corruption Conference (APSACC) will be held from 26 to 28 November 2013 at the Hilton Sydney.
This biennial event is conducted to increase the knowledge and skill levels of public sector leaders and managers to effectively counter corrupt conduct within their organisations.
APSACC is jointly planned and hosted by the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the Queensland Crime and Misconduct Commission and the Western Australian Corruption and Crime Commission (CCC).
The Honourable Barry O'Farrell, MP, Premier of NSW, will officially open the conference. Keynote presentations will be delivered by Dr Peter Eigen, founder of the Advisory Council of Transparency International and the Hon James Wood AO QC, former chief judge at Common Law of the Supreme Court of NSW.
Dr Eigen was interviewed by the ICAC for its biannual newsletter, Corruption Matters. A copy of the interview transcript is available here
